Dear Parents:
Welcome to Woodlands Montessori. This year may very well be the most wonderful
year of your child's educational life. We here at Woodlands are planning
our program with every detail to bring out the very best in your child. We
strive to improve your child's intelligence, independence, awareness of the
world, and most of all awareness of what and who he or she is. There is no
gift more wonderful than making a child feel accepted and loved. This is
not done by spoiling and giving, but by letting him or her experience life
in making choices and being exposed to many wonderful learning materials
that teach with positive reinforcement. That is our goal, and a side
benefit of this is that children are months and years ahead of the
traditional methods of teaching. We love what we do and the children know
